Our spacious
56' Custom Steel "Bruce Roberts" is set up and equipped to easily accommodate as many as eight people in three cabins and a day bed. A comfortable, serious cruising yacht that has the ´go anywhere´ ruggedness of a steel vessel. Being a family of 4 on anchor we have had too put our money where our mouths are, and have spent a lot of time
energy and expense on outfitting "Tranquility" with the products we know and trust. The old philosophy has come into effect "You Pay Now or You Can Pay Later". Run time of your Gen-Set and or Engine is so important that being able to incorporate
renewable energy resources, along with
High Output Alternators where you can, will help cut down your overall run time. And we all know that the longer you have to run the Engine/Gen-Set adds up to more Diesel, more Oil changes, more wear and tear and above all more COST! We have a 2 year return on the amount of money out laid for these set up costs, after that its more money in the bank to enjoy the places that you dream of going.

Displayed on our
boat are the products we sell and we can give honest opinions on their functions, reliability and value for money of equipment we use on
"Tranquility". We utilize 2
D400 Wind Generators, 3 165 watt
Solar Panels, a
Blue Sky
Solar Boost system, large Battery Bank,
OGM LED Lighting to conserve power,
Balmar High Output Alternators with Smart Regulators, & Large Battery Chargers, for those times when you do have to start the
Gen-Set. We still have a lot to add to her, but we know Our S/V "Tranquility" is a Strong built Ocean Going Vessel, with many
renewable energy resources, that conserves our fuel and extends our batteries and allows us to live at anchor comfortable and will have us ready to take on the challenge of our next blue water cruising adventure.
We are fully equipped with a workshop on board and if you are in the same cruising grounds and need work done we will be more than willing to accommodate you and allow your boat to raft up to us while we do any installs or service or just want to stop by for a look, saving on dockage for the serious cruiser.

Cameron and Leighia have always enjoyed being on or close by
the sea, whether it be sailing surfing, diving or just
lazing by the water’s edge we have seen the change in our
oceans environment and noticed the damage been done every
day by now looking at the shoreline from our floating home
SV "Tranquility".
Between the two of us we have grown up with the values of
being part of nature and enjoying what the earth offers us
and giving back through thoughtful stewardship, we were
green before it was cool! Cameron grew up in Hawaii with his
parents who ran a successful beach cat charter business out
of Monaka beach hotel, He had salt running through his veins
though being brought up between there and New Zealand where
his Grandfather ran a successful boat yard in the Bay of
Islands. Cam was a keen racer in his younger years and with
his team has won many races including the Kenwood Cup and NZ
Cup. Cameron’s professional BACKGROUND HAS BEEN ABOARD
SUPERYACHTS working his way up from Swab to Engineer to
Captain with a MCA Class 4 certificate, Cameron’s keen mind
and lateral thinking has made him sort after in the
specialized renewable energy installation market. Leighia
didn’t get into the sailing life until much later in her
early twenties when she moved from New Zealand to Australia
to work on the charter Catamaran's on the great Barrier
Reef, quickly becoming accustomed to this boating lifestyle
she went on to work on a 61foot Oyster sailing around the
China Sea and Papa New Guinea down to the Whitsundays on
private charters. She found a calling that set in motion a
new understanding of our human impact on the world’s oceans
and coastal communities, and wanted to see more and make a
difference on how our keel imprints impact our environment
as a whole. Meeting in New Zealand and bringing a 120ft
Super Yacht over the pacific to Newport California both of
us realized that we wanted to one day buy a boat and sail
home, taking with us the knowledge and ideas of living
sustain onboard and teaching others how to implement this
into their lifestyle so that as a collective whole we can
make a difference in our communities whether it’s on the
water or on land. Thus we haven’t got home yet and have
found that home is more so where our boat is and that’s
wherever a client wants Trans Marine’s services. This keeps
us travelling up and down the east coast of USA to the
Bahamas and as far as the Caribbean, installing and
educating people on renewable energy platforms for their
vessels. Our kids are also learning so much from seeing
what’s important in their parents ideas and love for what we
do, we stand by our integrity of being conscious of our own
keel imprint and are always looking for ways to lessen it
whether it be in promoting Renewable energy or leaving a
clean wake behind us.
Water and air, the two essential fluids
on which all life depends, have become global garbage cans.
